Embrace Her is a supportive, evidence-based space created to empower women and families through pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. Founded by Amy Mitchell, a Registered and Endorsed Midwife with 12 years of nursing experience and 8 years working as a midwife in both public and private hospitals, Embrace Her offers personalised education that truly makes a difference. Amy has taught antenatal classes within hospital settings and understands how busy, clinical environments can limit the depth of learning families receive. Embrace Her was created to change that. Our private classes are intentionally intimate, allowing time for deeper conversation, practical skill-building, and genuine confidence-building that simply isn’t always possible in a hospital class. At Embrace Her, you’ll learn how to understand your body, your options, and how to advocate for yourself in any birth setting — hospital or home. We also provide hands-on postpartum and newborn care education, including bathing, newborn wearing, feeding (breast and bottle), understanding breast pumps, settling techniques, and practical guidance to help you feel prepared for life with your baby. Embrace Her is here to support, educate, and empower you every step of the way — so you can embrace your pregnancy, birth, and motherhood journey with confidence *Private health insurance rebates available*
